Need help locating my frame VIN...

Good morning Guys. I know this is an old subject but I’m absolutely stumped.

I have a ’75 F-350 Super Camper Special that I found in an impound yard. It’s off of the California DMV system and I need to have it verified. One problem…I can’t find the stamped VIN on the frame.

I’ve checked the usual place…top of the passenger side frame rail between the radiator and cab but no luck.

Where should I look?

HELP! ANY ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Jim

On some CA built trucks, the VIN is stamped on the crossmember directly below the crank pulley.

It's there on my 65 F100.

I haven't looked there yet. I'll give it a shot.
