I don't know didly squat beyond what I read here concerning the contents and effectiveness of the various additives for diesel, but Powerservice seems to have the widest distribution of all the additives. That alone probably is why is had the most volume usage. It's also fairly cheap at places like Walmart.
Yeah, I'm not impressed with the design of the 96oz bottle. Its hard to pour without spilling and it leaks if the bottle is on its side. It needs improvement.
I use the Power Service product in the 32 oz bottles and get them at Auto Zone. They run about $6.99 I have not noticed a increase in mpg as I drive the truck like I stole it, but it sure runs smoother and is super quiet now.I like the grey bottle as it adds cetane and stops gelling, most diesel around is only 40 cetane.

If you want anti-gel its the white bottle not the grey one. white bottle also ups the cetane just not as much as the grey bottle.

Grey bottle - cetane boost (no anti-gel properties)
White bottle - less cetane boost due to room needed for anti-gel additive added
Grey bottle - (late spring, summer & fall)
White bottle - (Late fall, winter and early spring)
Beachbumcook, How important do you feel it is to have the additional oil and coolant filters? Is dieselsite the best place to get them? Why don't you have a trans filter, and do these additional filters affect flushing procedures. My truck is stock with 109K.
Sorry Guys I goofed on the grey bottle info, I must be showing some sighs of age! I was getting to the fact that i use Power Service and it doesnt cost alot and seems to work good for me anyhow.
