Well, I would be thinking corrosion in an electrical contact somewhere. What a beeatch. Ran fine for five months so a connection somewhere may have degraded. Was it salt water or fresh?

Edit: Katrina truck????

Can't imagine how you can say that unless you have checked all of them. When you say you drained everything, what did that include? Most importantly, is it throwing any SES codes on the dash, and even if not, have you scanned it?

I would suspect you may have some sort of error code.

That ran fine for 5 months really has me stumped with the no codes thing. I now have to review the thread again.

OK, I was going to say throttle pedal assembly after re-reading but you should have a code. So that may be out. If you are sure you are getting fuel, which I am not, then you have an electrical cutout and it is almost always CPS related when it just quits.

BTW, it's killing me, how did it get into water up to the steering wheel? Drove into a lake/pond?

I won't even ask how or why. Looks like there was plenty of company there. I suppose you had no similar problems?

Nice Pic BTW, I'm sure FTE is loving that big one. How did you get it in?

I'm going to go back to the CPS, new or not. No codes, starts and then cuts off or doesn't start at all. Sure sounds like classic CPS problems to me. If it's been in there for 5 months it could very well have gone bad (if it's brand new, maybe DOA).
