Lol thanks Fom nope never used an angle grinder probably can learn fast i guess havent used much of that stuff since i dont got the equipment in the first place shop to do it in and all that
Well, if you want to try it out. Wear a long sleeve shirt or old coat (I like an old jean jacket) unless you like little hot sparks bouncing of your arms. A hat is good too. Morris has eye and hearing protection.
Lol okie dokie well my dad knows how to use one so he can show me too if he comes well dang it anyways didnt get that pm Fom sorry have to send again dont know what happened there
Dustin, I sent you another pm, let me know if you get it. When do you expect to be here?
Wear some warm clothing and foot wear, it`s cooling off for Friday and Sat.
this is where a plasma cutter would come in real handy, or even just a torch gouging tip, save on zip discs, they are a limited resource don't chya know
The plasma cutter works great for cutting sheet metal but really sucks at cutting off bolts bigger than 5/16, the zip cut or a grinder is the best if there is room.
ive got no idea on the cost, on the machine i was using you just push the selector to gouge, the tip just screws on and away you go, you work at about a 45 degree angle, we were gouging backing strips off of test plate, it didnt dig into the base material unless you really got in an aggressive angle on it. it just removed that backing strip real easy. i think it would work okay for working around sheetmetal, just dont slip, whatever you do, dont slip
edit: ill try and find you a picture later, but im going to bed for now

Reason: adding something
So Morris, You going to plug the block heater on SK51 on Saturday morning?
2 DAYS TO GO
It has a block heater? I`ll try to remember to do that.
I`m sure I seen Ford Flatties with block heaters that screwed in place of a head bolts.
I think my 57 F350/272 has it screwed into the water pump, I would have to double check that to be sure.
We may have to pull it with the Bobcat, I was cleaning snow around and under neath it tonite getting it ready for Sat. morning, I went to move it ahead and now the deck is a touch shorter on one corner.....
Seems it had a weak spot from dry rot.
