Squeeling brakes
I have a 2001 superduty Scab 2wd LB, I checked my brakes and they have about 60% of the pad left. Went I make a slow stop, using the brakes lightly a get a squeel. If I push noise on them it go away?? This is annonying. What the fix????

Are the brakes factory? If not when they were installed the mechanic didn't but any of that sticky brake pad quieter stuff on. What it does is keeps the pads from moving at all while your on the brakes. That can makes them squeal. Also excessive brake dust build-up can make them squeal. Try washing the brakes down at the car wash or with some brake cleaner.
