overhead display
my overhead display went out on my 2000 truck so i looked on the threads and saw what diodes might be bad i found out what ones and if touched it lights up. now for the question on one of the posts i read that instead of soldering you could super glue the diodes i know it sounds crazy but i wondering if it is possible any help would be nice

I'm not sure if Super Glue will conduct electricity like solder. But really...what do you have to lose. 
If it doesn't work and you end up having to solder it then the solder gun should melt the Super Glue right off.

I don't believe that superglue conducts electricity. You might make the situation worse because the superglue will now lock up the diode and it's electrodes in a spot that might not be making proper contact. You're gonna have a heck of a time trying to free it without destroying it.
