Ok I trust you guys to give your opinion on which chip to install in my truck 2000 F350 dually pull a horse trailer nothing more done to the truck all stock.
I have been told that putting a chip in there will put more stress on my tranny what do you all recommend?
He answered one of your other post www.dp-tuner.com he has the best programming by far engine and tranny. BUT BUT BUT before adding power you will want to open up the intake, open up the exhaust and get gauges to monitor the beast, Pyro, Boost, Trans Temp (if you have and auto). EGT's can climb rapidly when towing so you want to see what it is running so you can back out of it before reaching critical temps.
The higher HP settings will put a strain on the automatic tranny, especially the torque converter. If you don't go crazy and get a mild chip it will hold up fine but upgrade the valve body as mentioned above. Give Tony Wildman a call for a chip. http://www.totaldieselperformance.com/
First I would recommend guages, intake & exhaust or else you will be running hot EGT's.

is he a trans guy??? id like to have mine rebuilt befor it go's bang...
I agree with everyone about gauges first and then exhaust and intake. I run a Diesel Innovations chip and cannot say enough good things about the product or the customer service. Top notch professionals and the chip made me think I had bought a different truck. It's like night and day.
DP Tuner, can't say enough good things about them.
Same goes for the BTS valve body.
BUT get gauges first & a good exhaust before even thinking about a chip, & a high flow intake is HIGHLY recomended.
Here's another one for Jody.
He and Diane have always gone the extra mile to help me and my friends out, and I mean always.
He custom built our burns one morning for almost 4 hours before going out of town, and it was on his day off to boot. Next day'd the chips back to me so we could install injectors that weekend.
Hard to beat the customer service.
The tuning works ok too.
Gotta give my props to Dp ... after not having my truck for a week while installing a new turbo, even stock felt fast.. but then i fliped it back on 80 and OMG I love it and SMOKE!!
