According to Consumer Reports and several other sources, they are a waste of money, (depending on your driving habits), which wil provide the same results without the unit. Especially in a turbocharged engine. I believe they said take the money you would spend for those items and take your family out to eat. At least you will have seen something for your money.

Oh, BTW, there is no throttle body in a 7.3 so why would we need a spacer?

I heard with a TBS, platinum spark plugs, an MSD distributor, and a Jacobs coil, and a Flowmaster muffler bearing, a Powerstroke can run 10s

Ask the seller where the throttle body is on the 7.3 powerstroke. See what he says. :rolleyes.

This is even better than those leafblower electric superchargers I used to see on mustang forums--a great way to fool people who do not understand basic physics (i.e. explain that a leafblower that blows 160mph is incapable of generating any pressure, aka boost, and they don't understand)

Yeah, so it's crap. Like Kris said...where's the throttle body on our 7.3's? Kind of hard to put a spacer in something that doesn't exist.

I bet a powerstroke could suck a leaf blower impeller in and overspeed it at idle.

Just what I was thinking LOL. I think it's meant to go between the y manifold and the intake manifold, but I had one on my 97 F-150, and all it did was make me sound like my superduty when I kept it between 2300-2700 rpms LOL

I sent him a message to see what he'd say.

"Excuse me, i am new to diesels, and i am interested in this for my truck. I don't have much done to it and i would like a cheap way to get some more power and that claimed 4mpg difference. I was just wondering exactly where this part goes? Is it before or after the supercharger? Thanks."

I would have said that I want to make sure I connect it properly so where is my throttle body and what color is it? Supercharger eh? Anyway, looking forward to that response. He'll surely provide some kinda BS.

You might be able to use it as a cup holder with a few mods of course

For best results, insert spacer directly into the intake of your opponent's truck

I think you are supposed to hold it out the window while you are driving screaming out "i like shiny things, dirt tastes like oranges, someone needs to change my diaper!". OR just remove the drivers seat and drivers controls and face them toward the rear glass.

Kris, did he reply yet?
