1988 460 Starting Problems
Hi Ya'll -- Got a 1988 F-350 with a 460 EFI. Was starting and running good, put some bad gas in the front tank (back one non-operative) killed it, hasn't ran right yet. The truck will start and run about two seconds, won't hit another lick. New hi-pressure fuel pump on rail, new fuel filter, no change. Fuel pressure at Schrader valve is 43 psi key on, engine not cranking. This is where I'm at, any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Also, going to have to pull front tank and check fuel gauge sender, is there anything on the in-tank lift pump that might cause this problem?? Glad you guys are here !!!
