Largest spare?

Example, a Desert Dueller may measure 22" OD (outer diameter) and a Uniroyal Cross Country may measure 21 1/2" for the same size rim, but have the same code.

At least not with the factory Hitch, and I dought there is any way with an Aftermaket hitch.
My truck is a 2001 4x4 eddie bauer (non air suspension)
I was thinking of trying to relocate my hitch out some, but I do tow from time to time, and I dont want to mess anything up with my hitch, so if I get a flat, I will have a mini spare, If you have an later Model Expy, You may notice there is not a 2wd option. If you should get a flat and have to use a smaller size tire from whats on the truck, you need to pull the fuse for the Transfer case so the truck doen't shift in to A4wd.
I was in almost the same boat. I have 315x75x16 and my exhaust prevented proper storage. There are exterior holders that "Monsta" recommend this for me:

This one will set you back some coin! The Bonarue II is the ultimate spare tire carrier.

Another good option (& MUCH cheaper) is Ride-on tire sealant. www.ride-on.com
Hope it helps
