How do you bleed a powerstroke after running out of fuel?

 

I could be very wrong, but I think you just KO till the pump stops.

 

The system is supposed to be self priming. When you turn the key on, the fuel pump runs for 20 seconds. Cycle the key several times until the system pressures up. To help it, you can open the fuel bowl drain valve and when you start to see diesel pouring out, you know the air is out.
