Red Power Steering fluid?

Red Power Steering fluid?
hey guys! my dad just got an '06 f250 with the 6.0 so i'll be pokin around in here. i've mainly been in the 73-79 trucks and off road forums. I'm lookin forward to meeting you all! Anyways my dad's power steering has been slowly getting harder to steer and i took a look at it today and the fluid is getting pretty low, but after having a look see i noticed that the fluid was red. I know that some of the older trucks use ATF in the power steering system, and as far as i know all atf is red and power steering fluid is yellow. the dealership put the red fluid in the truck. do these trucks use atf in the PS systems? or could it be red PS fluid?
