'51 ford steering box/column
Hi,
The steering box worm gear is part of the tube that goes up thru the column with the horm wire in it. The steering wheel nut threads on at the top of this. The only piece that comes off is the outer jacket or tube. best to remove the whole thing from truck if you want to work on it.
