What is the HP/Torque rating of an '02 V10? Is it a 3 Valve?
Thanks!

315HP, 425ft/lbs torque.

The '02 is not a 3-valve. The 3-valve appeared in 2005 and up Superduty.

I just bought a '68 from an Ole lady last year for my birthday. No motor, no trans...for $200.00. I pulled it out with my F250. Artie, this is just wishful thinking. I don't know if this is possible to shove a V10 in a cougar. Should I post this in the V10 forum.....or whatsup......

P.S. this is just wishful thinking. I need someone to chime in and say if it is possible or not.

this is a cool site.

Anthony

Preferably a '97 or '96

It's possible, but I might have to leave the hood off. Permanently. 5.4's fit.

Anyway, I'm sure a 2-valve V10 is very possible to stuff into a '68. Oh wait, that's the Mustang engine bay - hmm...

How's the hood clearance on '65-68 ???

Art,

If you can stuff a 428 CJ in a '68 Cougar. How much bigger is a Modular V10.

The problem I see is height-wise. And, the overall width of the engine between the shock towers. The OHC is a big honkin' space taker.
