Hi all! I posted this message in the 61-72 but they said I should try this cat. I have a 61 f100 with leaf springs and no coils on the front and was wanting to drop the fron about 4" if anyone knows how to do this fairly inexpsevily please let me know, any help is appreciated.
Bill,
You can buy Mono springs, they will drop it anywhere from 3 1/2" to 5" depending on the motor you have. I had a set for my 60 and it dropped it about 4". It looked really good but it made for a harsher ride. I got my springs from Carolina Classics, they cost $385 in 98. You'll have to get shorter shocks and new bushings to do the change.
