Just wondering if anybody has had good luck with a visor that does not have alot of wind noise? The one I have is a Lund. Love the look of my truck with one, however really getting anoied by the wind noise espically when I am heading into the wind. Guess I will take that over my wifes tire noise in her Escape.

 

Does your's rattle? Mine does and it's quite annoying. I am thinking about removing it if I can't find the rattle and make it stop.

 

No. Just wind noise. The truck is a 06 extened cab 4x4 and the visor was installed new a week after I got the truck.

 

I had a moon visor on my old '96 F250. My new '06 won't ever get one. It drove me nuts. If I passed a semi it would actually buckle the roof. I swore sometimes that it was going to take the roof off with it one day. Luckily, it never did and I sold that truck.

 

My '00 F-350 Lariat LE had one from the factory. No rattles, wind noise, etc. I do not know how much one from a dealer would cost compared to a aftermarket unit, but maybe worth a look.
