I would like some suggestions regarding which leveling kit to purchase for my 2001 ford f350 diesel (4x4). Iam looking for at least a 2.5in lift no more then 4in (because i have a camper) and dont want to spend more then 350.00 dollars. I've look at serveral brands.. fabtech, revtek, tuff country ..... to name a few. I'am pretty new to this so i would like some advice. Thank you
I went the lazy way and took mine to Les Schwab. I think I only paid $200-$250, intalled for 2in. I didnt really notice any effects on handling or ride quality.
well this topic has been addressed many times. IMO i want to get the DR 3in shackle lift. the reason is i want to keep the factory ride quality. it is about 450 but the quality is worth it. i had the 4.5in DR shackle lift but i thought it was just a tad to tall. if you have a camper and carry more weight up front you might want to consider the roughcountry lift because it comes with a little stiffer springs. hope this helps, also check out rubicon express.
I insatalled the Tuff Country add a leaf from Les Schwab and like the results. Added just under 2'' to the front, not too high, so when I put a load in the back it sets level. Ride is excellent and at $120 is an economical way to go.
I heard and am getting the Revtek, cause of Quality and from what I have read. just have to save up for it. course it all depends on your pocket book and what you want. I am even going to add a leaf to bring hte back up an inch. easy enough and looks good.
but Revtek are spendy (dam it)
