Sorry.. But ya'll are my family.. So I didnt want to put this in the Super Duty forum..
Here are some new pictures.. I got the Harley Emblems off and the windows tinted.. Next week my Smoke Cab Lights/Mirror Lenses will be in.. Can't wait.. Plus my mount so I can put my CB in and run the antenna wires..
The tint was 30 front, 5 rear door, 5 rear window.. I also stopped by a shop and they ripped the license plate mount off and self tapped two screws into the bumper.. I've been pulled over 4 times because that bottom step bar on my brush guard would cut off half my license plate!
are those your cb antennas on your box? if so why two antennas? and what brand are they look much better then the regular ones ive seen.......been holding off on buying a cb due to ugly antennas.
Nice ride... keep us up to date. What color is the truck? hard to tell by the pic.
It's two-tone Black and Gray..

Yes those are my CB antenna's... Two antenna's just give me better signal quality.. And for looks... If I wanted exceptional distance then I would use something like a 8 foot whip antenna.. Those two are Firestix, they are ok.. I kinda snagged them off my brothers truck while he's in Iraq.. I'm fixing to replace my Wilson Silverloads that I broke off (I didn't have springs then).. I snapped em in a drive thru on my old truck.. Wilson Silverloads are by far the best fiberglass antenna's out there.. Mine were $100 each and I had 2 of them, 4 ft long.. I had them tuned and with my Cobra 25 CB I could reach 7 miles in the interstate..
You could do the same with a good single antenna but when it comes to looks.. A truck with dual antenna's just look better.. It can get dangerous though.. I've had Truckers blow my antenna's and cb's.. I had one trucker one time ride next to me and he had a 1000watt linear amp and when he keyed up, the wattage he put out went through my antennas into my CB and blew everything..
Tint always makes a truck look much better. Mines got 5 all the way around, kinda sucks at night though, makes it quite difficult to park
Yeah 5 all the way around is illegal in texas.. I'm nervous to see how dark it is at night.. I ordered some 55watt Reverse Light Bulbs from JC Whitney to replace my stock bulbs.. Should help, if its bad then I'll just get some 80watt Backup Lights and mount them under my bumper..
I ordered my Police Interceptor badge LOL! Yeah I copycat you.. See how many faces I can turn (Grin)..
CS, you got it going on now. Truck looks great. I have some auxillary lights hooked up under the back wired into the back up light switch. They are a big help. I just used some utility lights from Wally World. I have used them for years on all my trucks and they work great. The Knights look sweet but I just couldn't see spending the money for them. Besides I like the extra light up and out of the way.
Hey, where are you going to mount your CB? I have a Galaxy and it's large. Seems like there is no room up front. I might just mount it on the back of my center console. I don't use it very often but when I tow I like to keep track of road conditions.

Rattler, I found a guy on EBAY that sells these 6" Pivoting Brackets.. I bought one and they are nice.. You mount the bracket that came iwth the CB to it.. Then bolt it to the floor and it can bend in all ways.. Once I get mine in and get photo's, it will be flat against the front of my seat..
