hey guys, i have a remote starter on my truck, and i have been noticing every once in a while when i use it, when i get into my truck the amp gauge is reading around 12-13, and i know it has been running long enough for the gpr to kick off, and the rellay must be off cause it would read near the 11v mark, so when i get in the truck and put the key in and step on the brake to dissable the remote the guage will jump up to the 14v where it is supposed to be. , what do you guys think??
Sounds like a fun guessing game. Do you leave the truck in the same configuration every time you get out of it? I.E the heat is on/off, same with the A/C....stereo...etc?
crash, i didnt put the starter in myself, i had it installed by a company that sold them.
cookie, as far as leaving everything thing the same, i probably do not, never noticed, but i will pay attention in the future.
it kinda sucks for me, cause it doesnt do this all the time, i used the remote a few times today as it was -19F today, i would say it did it 2-3 times i used it, and then the last few times it was ok. the last times i used it the truck engine was at full temp finally (it takes forever to warm up i can drive for an hour and finally the needle it where it is supposed to be when its this cold)
thanks for your help, anymore ideas would be great and i will try to give more info later.
