New Axle Shaft?
I have a 98 F-150 4x4 with a 4.6. My right rear axle shaft has a groove worn in it. I need to know where i can get on for a decent price and a..premium product. I know someone that uses drivetrain.com but don't know much about them. Anyone know if the parts they sell are good?
Also, I was thinking of changing my gear ration. The truck has 3.55s in it at the moment. I do some medium towing. I tow my woodmizer sawmill around. Loads of lumber sometimes. I was thinking of going with 4.10s. Also my tire size is 315 75 r16. That's what was on the truck when i bout it 4 years ago. i have some tires 285/ 75or 70 r 16 I may put on it. Any help would be much appreciated.
