c6 shift problem
i have a 83 f250 4x4 with a c6 trans,under moderate driving conditions it will shift from 1st to 3rd with a mild clunk as if there was no 2nd gear,however at wide open throttle or close to it the 2nd gear shift feels good.i have installed a green stripe modulator and have tried to adjust to compensate with no luck.
this has been a problem for years even after the rebuild.
if anybody out there could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated!!
am thinking of changing the entire valve body
