Just also finished installing an Explorer overhead console in my 94 F150 tonight. Started over the Christmas vacation. Got several tips from this forum, Steve83, and also a Ranger forum. I'll calibrated the compass tomorrow on my way to work.
Two pictures are shown at: http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/...ry/16122/54465
I believe the OHC are the last 2 pictures.
I do have to finish the job by putting in sometype of filler between the console and the headliner at the front of the OHC. Plan on using some headliner fabric.
wow that came out really good! I like the look, i am goin to look into doin the same thing. Where did you get the console? junkyard? adn hwo much they get ya for it? thanks
Got the items at a local u-pick-em junkyard. The console and wiring harness was from a 200X Explorer and cost me $8.00. Had to get a different rear window switch from a 95 Contour for $5.00.
