Thumbs up Finished electrical upgrade 1970!!!!

After reading a lot of articles on this site I decided to do a few upgrades to the old truck. I upgraded from manual steering to power steering, points ign to electronic ign,new wiper delay system, new wiring using Ron Francis, and a new Dakota digital instrument cluster.
The wiring went fairly smooth. I built a center console to house the new bare bonze fuse panel, speakers, and controls for the instrument cluster. The wiring instructions were a little sketchy in areas, but after contacting the tech rep I was able to move forward. One thing I didn't like was when I ordered the harness they asked me questions about my vehicle leading me to believe I was getting a harness made for my truck [NOT]. What I received was a harness for a GM. The only plugs or connectors that would work for me were rhe headlight connectors.
I waited three months before receiving my Dakota digital dash. After talking to someone higher up the food chain it was finally sent. The oil pressure sending unit would not fit past the fuel pump to thread into my 302. The instructions address this issue by saying you may need to make an adapter. I would think that for the price they charge for this dash that they could include what is needed to make the sending unit fit.
Anyway, everything is installed, and working as it should. My truck is back on the road ! here are some pics

I just took a look at the centechwire site. I was not aware of this product when I bought my Ron Francis harness. It looks good. No hassle with having to interprete GM wiring colors and converting them over. If you want to see some pics of what I've done go to the gallery under 1970 f-100NC

There's a factory extension for the oil pressure sender on a lot of the 302's. Its hex shaped. I used a brass pipe nipple until I found a factory one. Thats probably why they didn't send an adapter.
