diesel leak

What is the banjo fitting? There is a large nut on the back of the fuel pump that connects the two lines. Is this it? It looks like the diesel may be coming from this area. I cant tell. If I do change the fuel pump, is this a difficult. Do you need to bleed the system.

Their are weep holes on the fuel pump that often leak when the pump goes bad. The holes are on the passanger side of the pump just inside of the bolt. Check for leaks their while running...you'll see it leaking if thats is. And yes the bango bolt is the bolt at the back of the pump. The toughest part is getting that thing started and back together on the new pump. I got a set of instructions for pump R&R. PM me if you would like them.
