that would be an unimaginable horror that i dont even want to contemplate right now. Actually, i wouldnt mind getting my hands on a 67-72 for a daily driver. not bad shape would be alright, depending of course, i get a goodly sum from sgi and that it is totaled off. My luck it would be close but not quite.

i got an email today from a f100 dealer in Pickering Ont. wants $130 (shipping inc) for a repair manual and a door striker. All i want is a lousy door striker. I want to stay in the cab when im driving not scraping on the road.

These 67-72 trucks seem to be very popular now.

The Old Car Centre in BC Lists:

Striker - $31.95
53 Shop Manual - $54.95
Total with tax = $92.12

Shipping is free over $45.

I would go for the 67 easy enugh to find a box if rearended and a nice reliable truck
It don't got power steering but the manual steering in thoose trucks are so refinned they are beautiful to drive.

the older trucks are sooo much easier to work on too and in my opinion more reliable in the long run too. Parts are cheap.

Would you want a 70 1/2 ton 302 auto? Sport Custom? It is not running and I'm not sure if for sale?
