strongest heim

im trying to build a heim joint 4 link setup and i was wondering what is a good brand of heim joint, i cant really afford the best, but i dont want some cheap ebay heims that claim 40,000 lb static load, but really couldn't handle *****! from your expeirences which do you recommend.

also, what size heim joint are you guys running in your rigs?

I've used 1" ( 1.25" threads) Aurora and FK, Both held up well.

Stay away from QA1.

FK Rod Ends are nice.

If you want a nice spherical ball joint, Currie Jonnie Joints are the ****.

Go to Rod End Supply. They build great joints and use them for racing applications. I run their XD series for my steering linkage (5/8" hole with 3/4" shaft). Haven't broken a joint in the last 3 years of hard wheeling and mud racing!!
