Transfer case switch
i've got a manual shift borg warner 13-56 tcase and need to replace the switch on the front side that tells if you are in high or low range. aparently it is a dealer item but i think the guy looked up the wrong thing cause he said it was over $200. i believe he was quoting me something for an electronic shift because i know i could by that setup for that kind of money and i just can't believe that a simple 2 lead switch is so high. can anyone shed some light on this and give me a part number and cost??? i have a 95 f150

$200 is outrageous even for the stealership. Other sources for the indicator switch could be from a junkyard or rebuilder of transfer cases. This catalog for Motive Gear (division of Midwest Truck & Auto Parts Inc) has an exploded diagram of the BW1356 transfer case at p. 207 and the switch is listed as #33. Thanks, yeah even the guy at the counter said that was crazy, i was planning on running to some junkyards in the next couple of weeks, but thought i would ask around. i'll try that link and call and see what i can find out.
