It was probably late in the day, step 104 is check for muffler.

What are some popular mods (other than bigger pipes...hahaha) for this truck? I will be hauling somewhere in the 30-33 footer toy hauler with toys of course and lots of beer.

i woudl run from that dealer....

it hurts nothing to run without a muffler on a turbo diesel....the turbo keeps heat in and muffles the exhaust alot

Now the dealer is saying it was a bad fuel injector that caused the truck to run rough

HA I can't believe the dealership didn't notice there wasn't a tailpipe. But like everyone said you are fine without it. I haven't had a muffler or tailpipe on any of the trucks I have owned.

I have to admit it was a fast turn around from when the guy traded it in to when we bought it. I too do not understand how it was missed. Maybe they thought I didn't want it put on because it is a common mod to do. Now I have found out that it was running rough because the fuel injectors was jacked up.
