I am currently working on a 1960 Ford F-100 shortbox pick-up that I purchased for $35 five years ago. I am finally getting around to working on it and it really doesn't need a lot of work but i want a street-rod. That means i want a better suspension. I need to know what the "track-width" is on a 60 for pickup so that I can find a suitable donor clip. I have found a mid to upper 70's Monte Carlo that i can get for little-or-nothing but i am not sure if that will work. I have the track width for the car but I don't know what my truck is (my truck is 150 miles away). Also, is there anybody that manufactures front cab mounts for the 57'-60' Fords?
