The sputtering won't quit
My 88 F-150 won't quit sputtering. It sputters like it wants to die at lower RPM's, esp. under load. The thing will stutter until 2000RPM's or so. I have given it new plugs(autolite, all tested good w/ ohmmeter), new Autolite Pro wires, new cap and rotor, new alternator, new Idle air switch, new Throttle Position sensor. The exhaust had been cut-off, but now has a 3' length of pipe running to 31" glasspack and that's it.
