C8EA-E heads?
What are these heads? C8EA-E? they have screw in studs.Thanks

Question C8ae
Better check that casting number again...the number should read C8AE-E, and I could find no reference for the -E suffix.

You are right,sorry.sometimes I get a little dislexic! Are these heads worth getting?The only casting #'s I could find were C8VE-E in my book.

the c8ae heads arent 429/460 heads, theyre actually pretty good fe heads, if you were building a 390/428 those would be the heads youd want

No they were a 429-460,but maybe I read the #'s wrong I know that they are C8?E-E,I thought it was an A but couldve been V.Anyhow are these good heads?C8'V'E-E

it depends on what youre planning on doing, if its a race gas engine then yep theyre good heads, if not then theyre a waste of money- too small combustion chambers for too high compression on pump gas unless you use a big dish piston
