exhaust question

i have a 1995 bronco with the stock dual cat system. i am changing the stock muffler with a glasspack and i am wondering if taking the rear cat off will cause any problems with the motor. emissions doesnt matter, neither does noise laws, but i am considering gas mileage into this.

There are no sensors after cat. . Seen several posts that have removed them. I won't because Pa is starting to press the emmision inspection thing . (not required in my area) And Have heard many getting hasslesd about missing residnator and noise of after market exhaust. My one friend didn't pass because of after market cat .And not becuase of it not working it wasn't stock type.

get a bassani Y pipe i mileage is a consern. the stock y as a whole is the bottle neck not just the cat. if your not worried about emissions testing they offer an offroad version with no cats.

i guess my main question is if it will mess anything up with my system if i remove the rear cat

i took the back cat completely off and gutted the front one on my 91 bronco abouut a year ago. its not gonna do any kind of engine damage. make it a little louder is all
