Alright, Well prob have that system in prob by the end of the winter if everything goes smoothe. Is there a reason why Hedman would sell Long tube headers for $200 cheaper than its shorties? That doesnt seem right
I have had the same inquiry in the past, b/c I would like to convert to a 5spd at some point, I want headers that will be compatible.
I think the L&L Headers are supposed to be compatible with the ZF5. Which is probably the best header for our trucks period, but for sure the best header for the money. I dont have any personal experience with them, but I cant recall hearing anything but positive comments. I believe the Banks headers will also fit the ZF5 equipped trucks, but unless you are on the Forbes top 100, you probably wont be interested.
Other options may or may not include shorty type headers, but I havent really checked into these. If I take the time and effort to install headers, I'm going with the long tubes.
OOOOPs? I just realized that you also have 4x4? This shouldnt be a problem with headers unless you have a straight axle. FordF350Baby may be your man on this subject?
I have not, sadness prevails. I want ceramic coated long tubed headers. I just cant find any. I know summit has a bunch, but the long tubed ones are all tri-y designed, is that no good? And the Hedman ones, the guy said there actually short tubed ones and are not longed tubed.
