Code Question

I was wondering what I should do with my 1999 F-250 diesel. The other day I hit the brakes hard and the truck stalled out. Fired it back up and the service engine light stayed on, truck ran fine for a few days after. So, I borrowed my buddies code reader and found 2 codes. They are P0232 and P0476. I cleared the codes and they have not returned on start up. Will have to see if they come back after driving for a bit. My question is, if they don't return after driving, should I replace the parts associated with these codes or could it have just been a clich in the system. I trailer horses around, and it's a bit discerning to have a vehicle that acts up like this. You would think if they were faulty, that the truck wouldn't run right period, which isn't the case. I would like to fix this problem myself than to bring it to the stealer if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks..

Run it for a week or two and see if the codes return. It could have been just a glitch caused by your panic stop killing the engine.
