New clutch, flywheel question
I need a new clutch. I am looking at a Luk. It appears that i need the Luk flywheel, is this correct? My truck is a 2000 F250 6-spd(228,000 on stock clutch, not bad) and my dad has the same truck. He bought a solid flywheel from NAPA when he replaced his not realizing the the clutch kit he bought came with a new flywheel. He kept it for when mine needed replaced. Is there anyway to use the NAPA flywheel with the Luk Clutch? If not, is there a clutch disc and plate that will provide a little more performance and will work with this flywheel? I would like to take advantage of this free $200 part if possible.
I use the truck to tow cattle and other farm work; if that helps with the selection.

Give Larry a call here, he's a South Bend dealer. The SB is now available as a replacement unit so you can use your flywheel.
