Sprayin' Mud

For those of you that haven't seen my previous post, I just put a 6" Fabtech, 295/70R17 Terra Grapplers and 17X9 AR Craters on my '06 Screw. Check it out...

I am very happy with everything so far. It handles well on the highway and in the city. It looks nice, big, and level. It's quiet. (It is guzzling more gas.)

I do have one gripe, though. It has stayed dirty. I don't mind it being dirty every now and then...but I'm used to a shiny truck. Granted, the weather in south Louisiana is almost tropical...so that doesn't help. I know I sound like a pu$$y, but...

Any cleaning tips? Is there anything I can do to keep it clean?

you can put a nice coat of wax on but with a black truck it's the nature of the beast, black shows dirt, white masks the dirt.

fender flairs or mud flaps, wide wheels and tires throw dirt and mud everywhere!

Beautiful truck, i plan on putting the same lift on mine next month. As For staying clean, you are kinda screwed with black, wax might help a little but other than that, maybe head down to a car x or auto zone or whatever you have down there and ask them what might help

HAHA...a step ladder

I installed black step bars last weekend...believe it or not, they do not really help anyway...they are so tight to the bottom of the truck that you have to step up fairly high anyway. I will update my pics soon...

Oh well, I'm willing to deal with the climb.

I will eventually put fender flares on it, I guess. I don't wanna screw into my truck but I also HATE having a dirty truck. I can deal with it...but I do work an office job (auditing) and I'd like it to be clean during the week at least, as it sits in the parking lot with a dozen of my coworkers' beamers.

moss motors is www.f150store.com has some fender flares that use the existing screw holes as well as some clips that don't require any additional drilling i would try there they are available in 2 styles.

Awesome, man. Thanks.

I'm liking the Bushwacker Pocket Style. I think that would give me coverage of the tires, and they would look sweet as hell.

Oddly enough, I think I saw the same show. They do an entire suspension lift and take the truck muddin in a 30 minute show...haha..amazing.
