Wow, Bobby Hamilton dies ...
Man, I thought Bobby was doing OK after his treatment ... very sad to hear.
For those of you who may not be aware of Bobby Hamilton, he was a NASCAR driver and has always been considered to be one of the 'good guys' of the sport. He was 49 years old.

Oh man, I hadn't heard, he's one of the good guys in racing. My heart goes out to his family, I had thought he was doing better too. I heard that Benny Parsons is in ICU in Charlotte with throat cancer, hope he gets better.

Steve & I were shocked by the news as well. Bobby Jr. was just interviewed a few days ago on Sirius and said that his dad had some good days and some bad days and told of Bobby helping him in the shop a couple weeks ago with his late model.

Was very sorry to hear about Bobby Hamilton's passing. He was one of the reasons I had'nt given up being a fan of racing, really. An old-school, foot on the floor racer who could turn a wrench back in the shop. They don't make 'em like him anymore.
