i know this probably doesn't belong here but my ?'s get answered quicker here
on my 86 f-250 diesel my clutch master cylinder is spraying in the cab. from what i am told it comes in a hole new assembly. is there a rebuild kit for it? or do i have to get hole set up. and roughly how much does it cost?
thanks a head of time.
You can get some things after market. But for saving the headache, replace it with a factory Ford Part. Yes it will be a complete assembly with fluid resivour (?) hose, and slave cylnder complete.
Believe me it's easier than fighting with roll pins to remove the line from other pieces.
Couldn't tell you the cost, too many to guess from. But factory id easier.
Bob
I bought a new clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, and clutch safety switch for my 93 F350 from a ford truck center for $300. I didn't get the hydraulic line because they wanted $80 for it, that seemed unreal to me.
