funny...when i did a search for a slip tank the other day... this site came up, but there was so much too look at it didnt help me find out what you guys were talking about..
my wife grew up in the country and she never heard anyone call them a slip tank before either...it could possibly be a prairie thing
that 75 ford and the what 61 i think it was... those are nice looking big trucks...
these ones
A friend of mine bought a 10 acre place out here in BC, and it came with 2 big trucks like these, he called the scrap guy to come and take them away
I never even got to see them

I think every Ford guy will like that 46. That 61 is a good lookin truck that will probally sell fairly reasonable. And I agree that 1960 is a truck that looks good, I just hate thoose stepside boxes, too tall compared to the cab for this farm kid.
Oh Wreckhaul my two favorite things about Saksatchewan
1- you get your space
2- The auctions buying old farm trucks I love it.
this(these) guy(s) were obviously John Deere nuts, and i love em for it.
heres my wishlist(not too late for christmas presents guys, or birthdays are coming up soon)
i'd love to get my hands on one of those John Deere sickle mowers, just about any of those older tractors look ncie, but the two that stick out are the
59 John Deere 730 Diesel, i'd trash the cab, but i want one of those tractors oh so bad,
1958 JD 830 Diesel
and then there are two Meteor car's, those would be wicked cool too.
that 46 looks nice, but i think it would be a bit too pricy.
damn school, getting in the way of auction browsing. hey Rick, maybe if you were making a second trip around that time.........huh?? maybe????
the 1957 820 Diesel, heck, any of those old Johnny Popper diesels look nice.
actually dueller........yes, they dont take very good care of the ditches around here, and if i were going to have some JD equipment to go with the tractors, the mower is at least something i could use, oh yeah, that JD stationary engine would be nice, betchya that suckers on the heavy side....
Those sockles are easy to ues drive on level ground too. I saw a 47 1/2 running and old restoration go for 4000 last year a 46 one ton at auction I will guess at 4750.
