Mx6, Dirtlogic 2.0, Fox shocks?
I have a 06 F250 6.0 Superduty that has a 6 inch fabtech lift, 37 in Toyo Open Country's on 20inch Diamo's. The truck is on 6000 miles and I am at my second set of shocks for it now (Fabtech Performance White Body shocks). I keep blowing them up! Anyhow 4wheel parts is telling me the Mx6 is a better shock then the Dirt Logic's, and Fox's. I don't do alot of 50+ mph 4x4 in the desert routinely. I do visit glamis and the river outside that the beast is my daily. What shock would you recommend and why? Is a resevior needed?
Thanks,
Tim aka Pit
Myself, Bilstien makes the best shocks. The 7100 series sounds really cool, owner rebuildable and you can plumb in the resivoir for extra fluid to dissapate more heat. I have 5100 shocks on my superduty, I don't horse around in fields much and only have 315's so I am not that worried about damaging them.
So the three factors I would search for are, owner rebuildable (no more replacing), resivoir and multi shock compatable. I don't think you will need triples, but duals will divide the heat in half.
