door ajar
I need help with my door ajar alarm and interior lights staying on. I've tried WD-40, electrical parts cleaner and lithium grease on my 2002 F-350. None have worked. Even the 30 minute battery saver is not turning them off. My key fob won't lock or unlock the doors. The lock switch on the door won't lock the doors either. I can't find the relay under the dash although I do hear it clicking. I believe the problem is the front passenger door. Another interesting thing is that when I put the key in to start the truck the auto headlights come on (if it is dark) even though the headlight switch is not in the auto light position. I can't even find a fuse to pull to kill the courtesy and dome lamps. Any help out there.

You are having the same trouble I am. I can tell you how to fix the keyfobs/door locks, but I haven't cure the door ajar yet.
For the keyfobs, you need to replace the Vehicle Security module. That restored my power door locks/keyless entry. I have replaced both of my rear door ajar sensors and cluster (hoping it was just the GEM acting up.) Let me know if you get the door issue figured out.
