can anyone id this transfer case by the one picture i have??
all i can remember is that it is a divorced case, and came out of a 68 dodge 1 ton snow commander with Dana 60's and 5.13 gears. http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...ansfercase.jpg
yea. i cut the truck up about 20 years ago. it only had 14,000 miles on it, but it was a plow/salter truck, and the frame rotted in half. it has been sitting in the barn since then. my buddy asked me what i want to do with it. i actually forgot all about it till he called.
i am just wondering if it is worth digging out and cleaning up and selling it, or just toss it in the scrap iron pile.

If your buddy wants it, you might as well make a couple bucks on it. If it has been sitting that long I'd be worried about internal rust on the gears so you might want to open it up. You don't want to lose a friend over a couple of bucks.
anybody that has an old solid front axle chevy or dodge with a lot of lift would love that t-case .........it can be mounted to reduce the driveline angles, whatever you do, dont scrap it, somebody can use it
i was toying with the idea of putting it in the diesel as a remote t-case, but the front shaft is on the wrong side.
what i was mainly looking for was a type of case so i can list it for sale. . for some reason i had Dana case in memory. getting old and forgetting simple things stinks.
