[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-14-03 AT 03:10 PM (EST)]after the cats i have 2, 3 chamber flowmasters, no "x" or "y", completly separate pipes, then through the Nascar package Roush tips.
had it all put on at a local shop, but i'm sure there are kits to do the same..
a chip will probably be what i'm going to do for now, does anyone here purchased one? what would be better? Diablo, SuperChip, or something like a power programer?? i definitly want harder shifts, 1st to 2nd is just way to weak for me, which chip or programer will give me the most bang for the buck?? thanks for the replies.
Tyler..
i have just recently purchased the superchip tuner off ebay for 300 i noticed a big difference in power and was also able to firm the shifts up to my liking. this programmer was easy to install and you can return the truck back to factory settings very easily. i purchased from cons performance he guaranteed satisfaction. i was very happy with the tuner as it was one of the best mods i have done to my 97 f150 4.6 4x4 sc hope this helps
I have a 99 f-150 with a 4.6 I have a jet performance chip it was about $260. It does good until you start putting alot of performance parts on your truck.
