Removing Headlights
This might be a repost but i need help. I bought some headlight cleaner (plastic cleaner) and now i need to get inside the headlight...whats the best way of removing it on a 00 F1..here's a pic of the headlight...also I have HID's...this pose a problem?

There are two tabs behind/above each light. In the bottom pic, one is in just forward of the ballast (the black thing). Push back and pull up. Not sure if it will hit the ballast when pushing it back, there should be room.
If you wondering how to get the lens off of the rest of the housing, it is glued on. It can be taken off by putting the light in the oven (I couldn't give instructions, I can't say I recommend it either). Most of the time the damage is on the outside, polish it and it looks clear. Without any coating on it don't expect the polish job to last very long. I got a kit a walmart that had a clear sealant you apply as the last step, it worked very well.
You don't get people flashing their brights at you with HIDs in those housings?

thanks for your help...i will try this first thing in the morning...
yes i do get people all the time flashing their brights...these HID's are extremely bright...wasnt expecting them to be this bright
