I have a '77 f150 with hydraulic assist steering. My question is will that steering pump work on a complete hydraulic steering set up? The set up i will be useing is a 2.25" dual-rod steering cylinder and a 3.5 turn lock to lock return to center Orbital valve.

 

if its a canned ham then yes it'll be fine. however i know several ppl stepped up and bought an all out hydraulic pump and fabbed it in. they say its better b/c it turns faster rpms and can handle fast rpms for better respinse and sluid flow!
