i need help
my right rear blinker works when my truck is in park and some times on the road. most of the time it does not work and the front right blinks really fast.

Sounds like the filament in that rear bulb is getting ready to break; try swapping in a new bulb.

Ok, here is the test to this one. The 01 to early 03 had this issue. I have to assume you have a tilt column. If so, move the tilt wheel to a different location and see if the problem goes away and all works properly.
If so, you have the infamous wire harness to tight issue.
It is not hard to fix if you care to.

Tilt your column, if the light starts to work again, then you have the infamous "harness too short issue" that the 01 to the early 03 Tracs had.
There is a TSB on this but it will only cover you if you have coverage left on your Trac.

can i fix this myself by other means than moving the steering wheel. so that it works all the time?

You have to remove the steering column covers and repair the harness, then reroute it so it isn't "stretched".

There is enough slack available by moving the OEM harness.

if you try to do this disconnect the battery first so the air bag is disarmed.
i am assuming you have a manual and if you do not get one.

alright yeah i figured that i would have to unhook the battery but after that?
just get a manual and go from there?
