Torque Converter Bump?
I have an '00 Expy, 2wd, 4.6L. At approx. 50k, started getting a bump in the tranny when it shifts in an out of o/d. Since we bought it used, I dropped the pan, found the little plastic plug, changed filter and re-serviced with mobil 1 synthetic ATF. Problem fixed or so I thought. Same thing happened about 10k later. So now I drop the fluid about every 3 months at 6 dollars a quart! Why does this problem go away but keep coming back?? Help!!!!
