Power Window Conversion
Okay guys,
What kits are you using on your trucks for the window conversion? I found this kit on ebay and has anyone dealt with this universal kit before? ebay #150077596238

I used a similar setup in my previous 56. They are more difficult to install than the ones with the motors detached from the vertical channels. You have to fabricate a bracket to attach the bottom end.

I used this one #110076390492, this allows the motor to be out of the way of the bottom of the door space.. it came with the extra backet for the holding the motor.
I did the one piece curved glass on my 55.

I used a similar set to the one you posted. Check out my gallery "making changes"
They likely will need the track shortened but it was an easy install. Hardest part was getting the original glass out of the regulator channnel. Taking the doors off the truck and laying them down makes the job much simpler.
