12V wiper motor
Has anyone used the model 7C-17508-E12 ; 12 volt wiper motor kit. Is it a "straight bolt-in" or is there considerable modification required ?

I have a 12v motor from a 56 i believe but haven't mounted it yet.....check with fatfenders here...he might have more insight on this...(still using the 6v right now but my truck never sees the rain anyway)

I put a 12 volt wiper motor conversion in my 51 F! last year. I think it was from Mac or LMC. it was a bolt-in and went smoothly including the switch which replaced the vacuum switch. They work fine - two speeds and they park fairly well.

Wiper motor
Thanks for the feedback; I need to start wiper motor install so I can mount the EEC up under the dash. I have seen the kits but was reluctant to buy if meaning lots of modifications.
Would also like to go with "junk yard" solution but have not had time to source VW and other suggested fits.
