Having never used bio myself I speak only from hearsay, but I do remember some members on here saying that Bio diesel makes LESS smoke than dino.
That being said bio is also know to clean out the fuel system, so check your fuel filter, it may be dirtier than you ever expected.
Is it smoking white ? Black ? Blue?
You might have an injector issue. If you know someone with a telstar tester, do a contrubution test to make sure every injector is right. Might just be a freek thing that a injector went bad. Just an opinion. Does the truck seem to be running the same?
Bio will make less smoke, so the increased smoke is not normal, especially if it's blue. When is the smoke happening, at idle, under acceleration, during decelleration, all the time, etc?
I would suggest changing the fuel filter and going back to straight diesel and see what happens. Blue smoke is no good so get rid of the bio variable and run a tank or two to see what happens. If anything, stop getting fuel from the place that started the problem, well at least where you first noticed it. Who knows?
Edit: I see you said smoking all the time so my post stands for now.
at idle and at acceleration the problem is it takes me weeks to burn off a tank or fuel since I dont drive it much because of work vehicle. The only thing else I didnt add was the new place bio is agri-biodiesel maybe that is why? It doesnt seem to run ok but man it smokes at the stop signs and it smells bad the fumes
